Winter Boat Storage

Instructions for storing your boat in the BSYC parking lot for the winter:

• Eligibility:
  Winter boat storage is limited to one boat per slip owned. Please note that only owners may store boats at BSYC—renters are not permitted to store boats or trailers on the property.
• Insurance Requirement:
  Proof of insurance must be on file with BSYC for the duration of the storage period, reflecting appropriate coverage. If your policy renews over the winter, a new declaration page must be submitted at that time.
• Registration:
  To register your boat for winter storage, please email secretarybsyc@gmail.com to notify the club.
• Storage Dates:
  Boats are typically permitted to be stored beginning Columbus Day weekend. However, due to unusually low water levels this season, storage will be allowed starting October 1, 2025.
